Meeniyan Community Plan & Vision Launch
October 11th was a great day for Meeniyan with the Launch of the Community plan
and vision Statement by councillor Kerrie at the Meeniyan Hall. A wonderful evening
was had by 40 people to hear the work of the community and what their vision is for
the future. We had a great range of people which shows that we have an exciting
future for Meeniyan.
Mayor Hersey and Danny O’Brien also spoke on the value that these documents have
for funding into the future and what a great community we have. A special thanks to
everyone that has contributed to making this plan come to fruition and we look
forward to actioning the projects that the community hold dear to happening. We
need Champions to make your ideas happen so please put your hand up to keep
Meeniyan progressing into the future. It was fantastic to see everyone networking at
the sausage sizzle and thanks Kurt for cooking the BBQ.
