Community Hub Update

The lack of public toilets in the town is causing major issues with some locals but

especially tourists in the area. Having to walk over to the recreation reserve is proving

to be very difficult especially for some older people. Not much seems to be happening

at present with the demolition of the old baby health centre but hopefully progress

will quickly start to happen on the community hub and new toilets.

Once again PATIENCE is needed.

Quote from the Sentinel Times Tuesday October 17th re the proposed community

hub: ‘The building set for replacement has been fenced off, with members of the public

having to use toilet facilities at Korumburra Recreation Reserve’. Hopefully they

are not in too much of a hurry !!
